Why go?
Sochi is Russia’s only subtropical resort city located in Krasnodar krai, on the northeast coast of the Black Sea. Sochi is informally referred to as the summer, the southern and resort “capital” of Russia. The city is a major transportation hub as well as a large economic and cultural center of the Black Sea coast. Sochi has a well developed infrastructure after it hosted Winter Olympic Games 2014. Tourism and related services are the backbone of the local economy. The Big Sochi has a lot of hotels, motels, restaurants, cafes, bars, entertainment centers, water parks, marinas, piers, etc which attract thousands of tourists every year.

Where go?
The most important factors that attract tourists in Sochi are its warm, subtropical climate, the Black Sea, mineral sources, the proximity of the mountains, relatively well-developed tourist and recreational infrastructure.
If you are sportlover, don’t miss a chance to experience skiing or snowboarding at “Rosa Khutor”, ski resort in Krasnaya Polyana. You will also have an opportunity to see Olympic Park with the impressive stadiums.
You will be pleased by the nature of the region if you take a trip to Colchis forests which are the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Walking around the central part of the city you can visit Stalin’s Summer Residence, Museum of the History of Sochi, Sochi Art Museum, Ethnographic Museum. Adults and children will enjoy show in Oceanarium “Sochi Discovery World Aquarium” or in Dolphinarium in “Riviera” Park.
